India, July 18 -- Cancer treatment facilities will now be available under the Ayushman Bharat health card in Odisha, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling informed on Saturday.

The Minister stated that the state government has included the Chief Minister's Cancer Care Scheme in the budget to ensure better healthcare support for cancer patients.

He further said that 121 treatment packages have been incorporated under the Gopabandhu Jana Arogya Yojana, which also includes provisions for cancer treatment. The expenses related to cancer care will be borne from the state government's funds, providing financial relief to patients and their families.
