Heavy rain has caused waterlogging in low-lying areas of Sindurdihi village under Sarasara panchayat in Bonai block of the district. The situation occurred after the water level in Fatang Nala rose sharply, said a local.

Rainwater has reportedly entered houses and roads, leaving residents concerned about further deterioration in the situation. With the water level still increasing, the locals fear that more areas could be affected.
