Bhubaneswar, Oct. 4 -- The body of a youth who went missing after drowning at Handibhanga Waterfall in Odisha's Keonjhar district was recovered on Sunday after a two-day search operation.

The deceased has been identified as Dibyaranjan Mahanta, a resident of Sukinda area in Jajpur district.

According to reports, Dibyaranjan had visited Handibhanga Waterfall in Joda block on October 2 along with two of his colleagues. The three had reportedly gone to the waterfall for a visit. While bathing in the water, Dibyaranjan allegedly slipped and drowned in a deep portion of the reservoir.

Following the incident, personnel from the Fire Services department and Bamdebari police launched a search operation to trace the missing youth. The operation...
