Bhubaneswar, May 18 -- BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Monday held meetings with party leaders and office-bearers during his first visit to Odisha after assuming charge of the party's top organisational post. He held discussions focusing on strengthening the organisation ahead of upcoming local body elections.

A core committee meeting was held at the BJP state headquarters in Bhubaneswar in the presence of state BJP president Manmohan Samal, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Odisha BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, co-in-charge Lata Usendi and other senior party leaders.
