Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- Odisha Vigilance made a series of major cash recoveries from government officials during anti-corruption searches over the past two years.

On June 6, 2026, Odisha Vigilance recovered cash amounting to Rs. 2.04 crore during searches conducted on Baikuntha Nath Behera, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), ITDA, Baliguda in Kandhamal district.

The highest cash seizure in the history of Odisha Vigilance was recorded during searches on Debabrata Mohanty, Deputy Director of Mines, Cuttack Circle, Cuttack, on February 24-25, 2026. Vigilance officials recovered Rs. 4,28,33,600 in cash during the operation.
