The Union government has approved plans for a third terminal (T-3) at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar to meet rising passenger demand. Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, who chaired a regional review meeting in the city on Monday, confirmed that the expansion is in the planning stage.
Naidu said the upcoming terminal will not only enhance passenger handling capacity but also reflect Odisha's art, culture, history, and legacy in its design. He stated that passengers landing at Bhubaneswar will get a glimpse of the state's rich identity.
