Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- A special inspection has been ordered into the construction of the Gate Bazaar flyover in Berhampur following concerns raised by MP Pradeep Panigrahy over the quality and safety of the project.

The Odisha Works Department on Thursday directed a Quality Control team to visit the site and carry out a technical audit of the ongoing construction.

The team will examine various aspects of the project and submit a detailed report based on its findings.

The move comes after Pradeep Panigrahy wrote to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi highlighting concerns over the flyover construction and seeking a thorough assessment of the work.
