Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Thursday continued its inquiry into the Soumya Ranjan murder case in Balianta, with senior IPS officers likely to be questioned as part of the Commission's fact-finding exercise.

Sources said the fourth day of the NHRC inquiry could see the questioning of ADG Dayal Gangwar, the Commissioner of Police for Cuttack-Bhubaneswar and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar. The Commission is examining various aspects of the case, including the sequence of events leading to the incident and the actions taken thereafter.
