Bhubaneswar, May 12 -- Fresh details have emerged in the Baliantamob lynching case involving GRP constable Soumya Ranjan Swain. Crime Branch sources suspect he was under the influence of steroids and psychoactive substances during the alleged assault incident.
According to a report by The Times of India, Investigators believe the substances may have triggered hallucinations, causing Swain to mistake the survivor for another woman linked to a past sexual harassment dispute.
