Bhubaneswar, March 24 -- Intensive vehicle checking is underway across Odisha's Balasore city as part of the ongoing Road Safety Week, with authorities stepping up enforcement today to ensure compliance with traffic rules.

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) and Traffic Police have launched a joint drive, conducting strict checks at key locations, including Bhaskar Ganj Chowk. The focus is primarily on violations such as riding without helmets, triple riding, and drink-and-drive cases. Officials are taking stringent action against offenders to promote safer roads.
