Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- The death of an 11-year-old girl during treatment at the Odisha's Keonjhar district headquarters hospital on Monday triggered allegations that she consumed expired medicine supplied from an ANM centre. The allegation has been made by the girl's mother, an ASHA worker, while the ANM concerned has denied the charge and claimed the medicine was replaced immediately after the mistake came to light. The incident has been reported from Talabarada village under Singpur panchayat in Banspal block of Keonjhar district. The deceased was the daughter of ASHA worker Sridevi Naik.
