Bhubaneswar, Aug. 9 -- A tragic accident involving a group of Kanwariyas occurred in Odisha's Ganjam district during the holy month of Shravan, leaving 13 people, including the driver, injured.

The accident took place at Mayapatna square on National Highway-16 under the jurisdiction of Chamakhandi Police Station on Sunday

According to reports, a Tata Ace vehicle carrying the Kanwariyas lost control and overturned on the road, resulting in injuries to all 13 occupants.

The injured were immediately rescued and shifted to the Chhatrapur Government Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. As the condition of the driver was reportedly critical, he was later shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for advanced treatment....
