Bhubaneswar, Oct. 27 -- An armed robbery took place late Saturday night near Hatapada under Bonai police limits in Odisha's Sundargarh district. According to reports, five masked miscreants allegedly broke into a house and looted around 480 grams of gold jewellery and Rs 25 lakh in cash.

As per the complaint, the assailants allegedly tied up a widowed woman and her daughter, assaulted them, and escaped with the valuables. A staff member present in the house was also reportedly attacked during the incident.
