Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- The Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday carried out simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Prasanna Samantaray, an OAS officer serving as Tehsildar of Kantapada in Cuttack district, over allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The searches were conducted on March 11 based on warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Court in Cuttack.
According to Vigilance sources, the search operation is being led by two Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl. SPs) and includes eight Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 11 Inspectors, five Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff.
