Bhubaneswar, April 1 -- Serious allegations by a woman police personnel against senior officers have prompted a response from AngulSuperintendent of Police Rahul Jain, who has ordered an inquiry into the matter. The action follows a petition submitted by a woman havildar detailing her complaints.

The SP confirmed that steps have been initiated to examine the allegations. He stated that further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation once the reports are submitted.

A senior woman DSP has been assigned to conduct the inquiry into the allegations. In addition, the Internal Complaints Committee has also been directed to carry out a parallel investigation.
