Bhubaneswar, July 1 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to undertake a two-day official visit to Odisha on July 4 and 5 to launch a series of major development projects and public outreach programmes.

The central focus of the high-profile visit will be the inauguration of a new ethanol plant in Bargarh district. The plant will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 1,750 crore, aimed at boosting the region's green energy infrastructure.

The Home Minister will arrive at the Jharsuguda airport on July 3 at approximately 8:40 pm, ahead of his scheduled official engagements.
