Ambulance catches fire near Cuttack's Khannagar, no casualties reported
Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- An ambulance carrying a patient caught fire near Khannagar Chhak in Odisha's Cuttack district late on Sunday night. The patient, a child, and the ambulance staff were safely evacuated before the blaze spread.
The incident occurred at around 1 am while the ambulance was on its way to Shishu Bhawan. Family members accompanying the child acted quickly and brought the patient out of the vehicle, ensuring everyone on board remained safe.
According to reports, the ambulance was travelling from Khannagar Chhak towards Purighat when it suddenly caught fire. The ambulance came to Cuttack from the Badachana area of Jajpur district.
