Air India pilots to undergo mandatory dope tests after Phuket-Delhi pilot fails screening
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 13 -- Air India has taken a major decision regarding the safety and security of its passengers. Starting Thursday, all Air India pilots will undergo mandatory dope tests. This significant step comes after a pilot operating the Phuket-Delhi flight failed a dope test, raising serious concerns about passenger safety.
The dope tests will be conducted at the Air India Academy located in Gurugram. This facility has been designated as the primary testing center where pilots will be screened regularly. The academy is equipped with proper testing facilities to carry out these examinations efficiently.
