Bhubaneswar, Feb. 8 -- A heartfelt handwritten letter addressed to Goddess Maa Tara Tarini by a young child has deeply moved devotees and temple staff at the renowned Tara Tarini shrine in Odisha's Ganjam district.

The emotional note was discovered on Saturday during the routine counting of offerings from the hundi (donation box) at the shrine, which is dedicated to the presiding deity of the district. Temple officials noticed the letter tucked among the offerings as the donation box was opened.
