Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- Entering its eighth month of deliberations, the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) has intensified its state-level consultations to reform the salary and pension structure. Chaired by former Supreme Court Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, the commission is executing a series of regional tours to gather direct feedback from key stakeholders before drafting its final guidelines.

As reported by Livemint, the panel is visiting Odisha's Bhubaneswar on July 6 and 7.

The panel closed its public submission windows for suggestions on June 15 and for raw data on June 30. To analyse the findings, the commission is reportedly engaging with labour unions, ministries, and pension bodies across the country:
