Bhubaneswar, Sept. 27 -- Excise Department seized 400 kg of ganja from a courier office in Bhawanipatna in Odisha's Kalahandi on Sunday. The contraband was allegedly being transported to Uttar Pradesh in fish boxes.

According to reports, the ganja was packed inside 32 fish boxes and sent through courier. The parcel was reportedly booked with an address in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, which has been identified as the address of an Additional District and Sessions Judge.

The judge's name was not mentioned on the parcel. The name and address of the person who sent the consignment were also not mentioned.

The use of the judge's address as the delivery location raised questions over the consignment and those involved in sending it.
