As many as four individuals have been arrested on Monday in connection with a series of thefts reported from different schools and a women's self-help group office under the Laikera police station limits in Jharsuguda.
Several stolen items have been recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, multiple complaints had been lodged in July regarding thefts at various schools and a women's self-help group office in the Laikera area. Acting on these cases, the police launched an investigation and apprehended the accused.
