India, Oct. 9 -- A total of 29 faculty members and one research graduate of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela have featured in the World's Top 2% Scientists List. Compiled by Stanford University researchers, the list is published by Elsevier through its Data Repository.

The list has been prepared by Professor John P. A. Ioannidis of Stanford University, USA, and his team. It identifies the world's most influential researchers based on citation data, co-authorship adjustments and author contributions, considering both career-long and single-year research impact.
