India, July 18 -- Khordha Sadar Police have achieved a major breakthrough in their ongoing crackdown on illegal drug trafficking by seizing 257 grams of brown sugar and arresting two persons in connection with the case. A motorcycle allegedly used for the illegal activity has also been seized by the police.

According to sources, Khordha Sadar Police received reliable information about the sale and distribution of brown sugar near the Siali Shyamakali Temple area under Khordha Sadar police limits. Acting on the information, a police team conducted a raid at the spot and detained two suspected drug peddlers.
