Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- A 14-wheeler truck got stuck at Daringbadi Ghat in Ganjam district on Thursday after heavy rain caused a section of the road to sink. This brought the movement of heavy vehicles on the route to a halt. The truck, which was carrying paper from Bhubaneswar to Raipur, got stuck when its wheels sank into the damaged stretch.

The incident took place at the fourth bend of Daringbadi Ghat under Sorada police station limits. The truck got stuck in a slanted position on the ghat road, making it difficult for other heavy vehicles to pass through the stretch.
