India, July 19 -- Flash floods triggered by incessant overnight rainfall have wreaked havoc across parts of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving at least 11 people dead and causing widespread destruction. The worst-hit areas include Poonch and Rajouri districts, where swollen rivers surged without warning, sweeping away vehicles, damaging homes and roads, and forcing hundreds of residents to flee for safety. Rescue teams remain on the ground as authorities continue searching for several people who are still missing.
