'We need more help': Flood-hit residents raise relief concerns before Odisha Deputy CM during Jajpur visit
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida visited the flood-affected areas of Jajpur district on Tuesday to review the ongoing relief and restoration measures. During the first phase, she visited the flood-hit areas in Badachana block.
Later, she inspected the breach on the Kani River embankment at Patana in Dasarathpur block. While returning, the Deputy Chief Minister stopped at the Dhobabil area under Tarpada panchayat. She interacted with the flood-affected residents and looked into their concerns.
According to reports, several residents alleged that they did not receive relief materials, healthcare services, or tarpaulins. They expressed their dissatisfaction and staged a protest to highlight their grievance...
