Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched a sharp attack on the Indian National Congress (INC) on Sunday over Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam (women's reservation bill), accusing the party of opposing greater political representation for women.
Addressing the issue, the CM said that women today have demonstrated excellence across all sectors and constitute nearly half of India's 140 crore population. CM Majhi stressed that increasing women's participation in Parliament and state assemblies is essential for inclusive governance.
