Bhubaneswar, April 8 -- The Odisha Vigilance carried out simultaneous raids on Wednesday on properties linked to Rajesh Chandra Mohanty, Additional Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Circle, in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged irregularities and corruption. 

The searches were conducted across six locations, with his residence near Baramunda emerging as the focal point of the operation.

The early morning raids were spread across Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur, involving multiple teams of vigilance officials. 

Authorities have not yet disclosed the specific nature of the allegations, citing the ongoing investigation.
