Hong Kong, Aug. 26 -- Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) said 5.2 million passengers travelled through its two terminals in July, an improvement from 4.7 million passengers a year ago. HKIA's year-on-year passenger growth dipped to single digits in the reported period after delivering at 23.2% in April, 11.2% in May and 19.2% in June. "While transfer/transit passengers continued to experience growth from a low base, overall passenger traffic numbers softened due to adverse weather and a decline in demand to Japan," Airport Authority Hong Kong said.
