Aero Dili touches down in Australia
Hong Kong, June 23 -- Timor-Leste carrier, Aero Dili, has commenced nonstop flights to Darwin from its Dili hub. Read More The inaugural flight 8G271, operated by A320 registration 4W-AAL, landed in Darwin a little after 1000 local time on Sunday, following its 70-minute flight from Dili. The aircraft was on the ground for about an hour before operating the reciprocal 8G272 to Dili. Aero Dili has scheduled two flights a week on the route. It is the airline's first route in Australia. "Darwin is a natural partner for Timor-Leste," Aero Dili CEO, Lourenco De Oliveira, said.
