India, April 3 -- The initiative enables rural communities and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) with training, infrastructure, and technical support in food processing

NIFTEM-K has inaugurated a Science & Technology Hub for Food Processing at Badsar, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV) Palampur and supported by DST under the SEED initiative.

On this occasion, Director NIFTEM-K, Dr Harinder Singh Oberoi, emphasised that innovations must reach rural communities and this hub will act as a crucial bridge connecting science with grassroots entrepreneurship.
