India, Nov. 6 -- Sweden's Lantmannen has launched NordPea, a premium pea protein isolate with market-leading sustainability credentials. Lantmannen and Ingredion developed it through a joint initiative to meet demand for competitive, sustainable, high-quality plant proteins.

Lantmannen will manufacture NordPea at its new 100 million plant protein facility in Lidkoping, south-west Sweden, which will process about 40,000 tonnes of peas and faba beans annually.
