bigbasket, a TATA Enterprise announced the launch of bb Royal Slow Sugar Release Atta. It was officially unveiled by Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and Technology (I/C) at Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in Mysore.

Developed exclusively for bigbasket by CSIR-CFTRI, the atta blends wheat, soya, buckwheat, Bengal dal, psyllium husk, oats, and fenugreek in a carefully calibrated recipe. Clinical tests in accordance with BIS Guideline IS 16643:2018 (ISO 26642:2010) confirm an in vivo Glycemic Index of less than 45, significantly lower than conventional wheat flour.
