Guwahati, April 29 -- In a significant development in the ongoing probe, a special fast-track court has ordered the freezing of bank accounts belonging to Siddharth Sharma, former manager of singer Zubeen Garg and a key accused in the case.

The court also directed authorities to freeze the accounts of several other individuals allegedly involved in financial transactions with Sharma, thereby widening the scope of the investigation.

Additionally, the court ordered the seizure of Mahavir Aqua, a packaged drinking water unit located at Chhaygaon under the Soigaon Industrial Development Centre in Assam. The facility, reportedly owned by Sharma, has now come under judicial scrutiny as part of the case.
