Tripura University startup provides purified drinking water to flood-hit families in Assam's Amguri
Agartala, July 30 -- A Tripura University-backed startup has supplied over 2,000 litres of safe drinking water to around 30 flood-affected families in Assam's Amguri and nearby areas through its patented mobile water purification technology.
The relief effort was carried out by M.Tech student Ashim and InstaWater technician Santanu, who deployed the startup's portable purification unit in the flood-hit region to provide clean drinking water to affected residents.
The startup's founder, Prof Harjeet Nath, an Assistant Professor at Tripura University, said the mobile purification system was designed for rapid deployment during floods, natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
