Agartala, July 24 -- The Tripura government has initiated a technology-driven education programme to introduce robotics, drone technology and virtual reality (VR)-based learning in Vidyajyoti schools across the state under the Samagra Shiksha scheme.

The initiative, being implemented by the School Education Department, is aimed at integrating emerging technologies into classroom education in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Robotics and VR laboratories are being established in all Vidyajyoti schools to promote experiential learning and enhance students' analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities.
