Agartala: The Tripura government has announced a series of austerity measures aimed at reducing expenditure and conserving fuel, directing that 50 per cent of Group C and D employees in government offices work from home on a rotational basis with immediate effect.

According to an official order issued by the state government, Heads of Departments (HoDs) have been instructed to ensure that only half of the Group C and D workforce attends office each day, while the remaining employees work remotely.
