Agartala, Aug. 20 -- The Tripura state Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Manik Saha, on Thursday approved proposals for recruitment to 1,267 posts across various departments and the creation of 200 assistant professor posts, Transport Minister and Cabinet spokesperson Sushanta Chowdhury said.

Briefing media persons at the Civil Secretariat after the meeting, Chowdhury said the Cabinet approved a proposal to fill 27 Group C technical posts under the Printing and Stationery Department. Recruitment will be conducted by the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT).
