India, March 6 -- The Budget Session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly will be held from March 13 to March 25, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath said on Friday.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) at the Assembly, Nath said the session has been convened by Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu.

The session will begin on March 13 with the Governor's address to the House. On the opening day, members will also pay tributes to former Assembly Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen, who passed away recently, after which the House will be adjourned for the day.
