Tripura: Several injured as police use water cannons, baton-charge on Youth Congress protesters

Agartala: Several Youth Congress workers were injured after police used water cannons and resorted to a baton charge to disperse protesters attempting to march towards the Chief Minister's official residence in Agartala on Monday, party leaders said.
The protest, organised by the Youth Congress, sought the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination and raised issues including corruption, price rise, and unemployment.
Hundreds of Youth Congress workers and supporters took part in the rally, which began in the city in the morning.
