Agartala, July 24 -- A joint team of officials from various departments on Friday inspected the proposed Ayurvedic drug manufacturing unit at Sabroom in South Tripura as part of efforts to strengthen AYUSH healthcare services in the state, officials said.

The preliminary inspection was conducted at the Integrated AYUSH Hospital in Sabroom following directions from the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The delegation was led by the Branch Officer of the Ayurveda Wing under the Directorate of Health Services.
