Agartala, July 27 -- A delegation of nine CPI(M) legislators on Monday met Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and sought his intervention for a judicial inquiry into the death of Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Dhankar.

The delegation, headed by Leader of Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury, submitted a memorandum requesting that the investigation be conducted under the supervision of a sitting judge of the Tripura High Court to ensure transparency and public confidence.
