India, April 1 -- At least ten security personnel, including Tripura State Rifles (TSR) troopers and Tripura Police personnel, were injured after violent clashes erupted between supporters of Tipra Motha and the BJP in Tripura's Dhalai district on Tuesday.

The incident occurred in the Lambo area of Kamalpur when a BJP rally, led by local MLA and former minister Manoj Kanti Deb, came under attack. The rally was being held to campaign for the BJP candidate in the Asharambari ADC constituency and had passed through the Halahali area under the TTAADC jurisdiction.
