Guwahati, Aug. 1 -- President Droupadi Murmu has given her assent to the Bill amending the anti-paper leak law, clearing the way for tougher action against examination-related malpractices across the country.

The amendment, passed by Parliament earlier this week, strengthens the existing legal framework by introducing stricter penalties for those involved in leaking question papers and other forms of exam fraud.

The revised law is aimed at protecting the integrity of public examinations and deterring organised networks engaged in paper leaks.
