Guwahati, Sept. 17 -- The Patna High Court on Wednesday instructed the Congress to remove an AI-generated video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother.
The video was circulated on social media by the party's Bihar unit.
Acting Chief Justice PB Bajantri ordered the Congress to remove the video from all social media platforms.
Incidentally, the HC order came on PM Modi's birthday.
Delhi Police on Saturdayregistered an FIR on the basis ofa BJP worker's complaint over an AI-generated "deepfake" video.
The video in question was posted by the Bihar Congress unit on its X handle.
It allegedly played foul with the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother Heeraben Modi, as per an official.
