Dimapur: The NSCN (IM) has demanded that the Government of India immediately outlaw Kuki militant groups and their affiliated village volunteers, and formally designate them as terrorist organisations following the alleged killing of six Naga captives.

In a statement, the NSCN/GPRN strongly condemned what it described as the "barbaric killing" and "grotesque mutilation" of the victims, alleging that the acts constituted crimes against humanity and a grave violation of human dignity.

The organisation said it would pursue efforts to ensure that those responsible for the killings are brought to justice.
