Dimapur, Aug. 4 -- Nagaland's Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (DHFW), through the Drugs Control Administration, on Tuesday launched the Narcotic and Psychotropic Online Monitoring and Auditing System (NPOMAS) to strengthen the monitoring and management of narcotic and psychotropic substances.

The digital platform was launched during the valedictory programme of a month-long induction training for newly recruited drugs control officers at the Drugs Control Administration conference hall in Kohima.

According to the department, NPOMAS enables real-time stock monitoring, digital record maintenance and improved oversight of prescription details and drug distribution. It will provide authorised departmental officers with centralised ...
