Dimapur, Sept. 18 -- Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav reviewed the status of the Kohima Smart City project at a meeting with officials of the Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) at Lok Bhavan in Kohima on Friday.

During the meeting, officials presented a detailed overview of the progress, achievements and current status of projects under the Kohima Smart City Mission.

The presentation stated that Kohima was selected under the Smart Cities Mission on September 20, 2016. The KSCDL was subsequently formed as the special purpose vehicle in March 2017.

The presentation stated that 34 projects sanctioned under the mission had been completed, while six additional projects were also completed, taking the total to 40 projects.
