Dimapur, Sept. 15 -- The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) on Monday held an emergency meeting in Kohima with all line departments to discuss the severe damage to roads and other infrastructure caused by extreme weather events across the state.
Chairing the meeting, NSDMA adviser Z Nyusietho Nyuthe highlighted the various disaster incidents and action taken reports on the severe damage to roads and infrastructure across the state.
Reports from districts like Chumoukedima, Meluri, Kiphire, Noklak, Dimapur, Shamator, Mokokchung, Kohima and Peren were discussed, detailing landslides, flooding, infrastructure damage and damage to roads.
